Been a little while since my last arcade vlog. I sold Time Killers to make way for a new game I will be picking up soon. I talk about spacing of the games and getting monitor interference with the games being to close together. Finally, Donkey Kong 3 is almost complete!
Arcade VLOG: It’s all about spacing
Arcade VLOG: Donkey Kong 3 has been painted RED
So another update on my Donkey Kong 3 cab I have been working on. Since last vlog, I applied 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of Nintendo RED! I also painted the coin door and other hardware.
Tecmo Super Bowl (NES) REVIEW
Going back to old school jumblejunkie with this one! We are going to take a look at quite possibly one of the best sports games ever, Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES. I’m not a sports guy, but this game kicks butt!
Jumblejunkie YouTube Channel Relaunch coming soon!
Jumblejunkie YouTube Channel relaunch? What the hell does that mean? We’ll my friends, it has come to my attention, that my YouTube channel is a total mess (IMO)! Seems like in the 3 and a half years I have been doing this, I lost focus on what I wanted to initially do and that was to make a “show” that people wanted to come back to see the next episode.
Things evolved, I understand that, but I haven’t been 100% happy with the direction my channel has gone in the past year and a half. For my established audience, you guys already go with the flow. For my new audience, they get confused. One week they see an arcade video, then next a Mr.Sock video, then a review. There is nothing wrong with what I have been doing, I just want to dummy it down and go back to my roots. Time to be more focused!
So with in the next month or so I will have a new intro, new YouTube page layout, and obviously new episodes to my newly launched “Jumblejunkie show”. I have a couple scripts punched out already and pliantly of ideas. Expect episodes from retro to new school. Arcade stuff will be present, but more toned down. A vast majority of my arcade videos will be on my jumblejunkievlog channel.
Thanks for subscribing, commenting, and all the support over the years! I seriously appreciate it! You guys rock!

Arcade VLOG: Donkey Kong 3 has been Bondo’d
Today was a gorgeous day out, so I took advantage of it! I took my Donkey Kong 3 cab outside, bondo’d and sanded it. Now we are ready for primer and paint!
Arcade VLOG: Donkey Kong 3 ready for BONDO
I got my Donkey Kong 3 cab ready for bondo. Fixed the coin door part that was jigsawed out and stripped all the bolts.
Aracade VLOG: Donkey Kong 3 Stripage
I finished my Golden Axe arcade cab (sorry for lack of updates) and dove into my next project, Donkey Kong 3. This is an overview of the “interesting” choices the Op made while doing this conversion from Popeye to Tiger Road.
jumblejunkies Arcade Tour (Dec. 2012)
It’s been a VERY long time since I did one of these! I meant to do one a few weeks ago, but wanted to wait until I finished working on a few games. I got a pretty solid line up now that I am very happy with. Thanks to all that put up with all my arcade videos!
My TOP 5 iOS Games
Who would of thought that these cheap iOS games would take off? Who would of thought that they are actually pretty good? Not me! I will admit that I am more of a “physical copy” guy when it comes to gaming, but even I admit, I shell out pliantly when it comes to digital games. Since I’ve had my iPhone, I have downloaded a ton of games. There are some great iOS games that should not be missed! Here are my top 5 that I have and play.
1.) Street Fighter IV VOLT – Now I have 2 version of SF4 on my iPhone, both are great! I actually paid 9.99 for SF4 when it came out! Volt is like the “Super” version of SF4 on iOS. The game actually looks and plays fantastic for a touch screen fighter. The touch screen joystick takes some getting use to, but its pretty good with some practice. This one cost like 5 bucks when I got it, but its so worth it. (It goes on sale all the time)
2.) Dragon’s Lair – This laser disc arcade classic on iOS for a buck, how can anyone go wrong here? Anyone that has played the arcade knows how brutal it is in difficulty. The timing is still tricky on some parts, but the flashing buttons make your life SOOOO much easier! Go save the Princess already!
Arcade VLOG: Golden Axe can haz monitor too!
I took the monitor out of my falling apart free Outrun cab and threw it in my Golden Axe cab. WA-LA!! Monitor looks mint!!! Just need to get my Golden Axe board fixed and do the cosmetics to the cab.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim REVIEW
Get ready for battle Dragonborn! jumblejunkie reviews the very highly anticipated Skyrim (X-Box 360)!
Happy 10th Birthday X-Box!
WOW! It’s crazy that the X-Box is already 10 years old! It only felt like yesterday when I walked into a game store to play the new Microsoft console with quite possibly the largest controllers ever! I was a little late on the game when the X-Box came out. I had friends that had them and raved about how amazing it was. At the time I was a massive PC gamer which blinded me from the console market for a while.
It wasn’t until X-Box had a Sega bundle that the light bulb went off in my head! When Dreamcast died, a little bit of me died inside (I’m so emo), hence why I went primarily PC gaming. But to see Sega games on another console totally sucked me in, and I am glad it did. I played hours of Jet Grind Radio Future and Sega GT. From there I was totally hooked and the X-box was my preferred console of choice at the time. And when Shuemue 2 was released on the X-box, the shit hit the fan!
I might not be the biggest Microsoft fan these days (Apple fanboy here), but I absolutely love their consoles. This was definitely a great console and I am glad it was a big enough hit to have the 360 come right after it. The X-Box is a beefy console, but it’s for sure a console you want in your collection!
jumblejunkie’s SKYRIM Impressions
Originally on Gotgame.com 11/10/11. This is my “spoiler free” Skyrim impressions video! This is with about 12ish hours played.
Holly Hadouken’s adventures in 3D! – And then expert mode, will I ever finish this game?
Arcade VLOG: I fixed my Virtua Fighter 2 arcade!
A few months back I picked up a Virtua Fighter 2 arcade cab off of Craigslist for pretty cheap. The guy wanted an arm and a leg for it, I shot him a low offer since I knew it had an audio issue. Cash is king! He agreed and I went to pick it up. Since then, I’ve been trying to pin point the issue. I tested the audio amp, speakers, tried powered PC speakers, and NOTHING! I am embarrassed to admit I never thought of checking the voltage. Well, guess what? That was the issue!
