Now I know that there are SEVERAL issues with this game. My issue is much different then they typical server issues and errors people are getting. Yes, I am trying to PC game on a Mac. People are going to say that that is my issue, “Don’t try to game on a Mac”. World of Warcraft runs flawlessly on my Mac with zero issues. Even Steam works amazing! Hardware is similar, it just comes down to software.
The issue I am having is that the FPS (frames per second) are god awful! Now, I know its not my computer. It meets the system requirements and Diablo 3 is not a power house for graphics. For some reason, if you have a NVIDA 9400 video card, you will be forced to play in 800×600, everything on low, hard to ready blurry text and LUCKY if you get 15 FPS. The Blizzard forums are fuming with people with the same issue. Not only my video card, but it seems like Mac users all around are effected with ungodly low FPS.
Either fix it, or tell people ahead of time that a 2-3 year old iMac isn’t gonna cut it (kinda BS). Sad thing is, people are bootcamp-ing their Macs into Windows and running the game flawlessly with the same hardware. Right now it sucks to be a Mac user. Why is the Mac so unloved for gaming?
Yes, another new arcade game! I’ve been eye balling Popeye for a long time. Really good, underrated game IMO. Unfortunately, I had to sell Soul Calibur 2 to get this one. I had to fix a few things on it and cap the monitor, but now its minty!
Back with another arcade review from ACAM! This time we take a look at the 1980 Universal game, Cheeky Mouse. The object of the game is to protect your precious cheese with a hammer! This game is very challenging but a ton of fun!
I helped an arcade buddy move a few games in his basement and I was rewarded with a free Sega classic, Thunder Blade! Thunder Blade is a helicopter game that plays like a shoot em up mixed with Space Harrier. Really fun game! This is the cabaret upright version. They also made a huge sit down version.
I got a smokin’ deal on one of those 19-in-1 arcade boards so here is an overview of it. It’s not perfect, but if you don’t mind a little minor annoyances, it’s not that bad.
April 6-8, I went to PAX EAST 2012 in Boston. I played and saw a TON of things! This year I did not go crazy and film footage. I just snapped pictures with my iPhone and figured I would give my impressions on the games I played in a slideshow form.

Been a little while since my last arcade vlog. I sold Time Killers to make way for a new game I will be picking up soon. I talk about spacing of the games and getting monitor interference with the games being to close together. Finally, Donkey Kong 3 is almost complete!
So another update on my Donkey Kong 3 cab I have been working on. Since last vlog, I applied 3 coats of primer and 2 coats of Nintendo RED! I also painted the coin door and other hardware.
Going back to old school jumblejunkie with this one! We are going to take a look at quite possibly one of the best sports games ever, Tecmo Super Bowl on the NES. I’m not a sports guy, but this game kicks butt!
